All scholarship applications must be fully submitted by the published deadline. Applications received after the stated deadline will not be considered unless otherwise approved by the Board.
Applicants must submit all required materials as outlined in the official application guidelines, including a completed application, personal or career statement, official Proof of Enrollment, resume, and any additional materials specified in the instructions. Applications that are incomplete at the time of the deadline may not be reviewed.
All application documents must be submitted in PDF or DOCX format. The following file types are not accepted: JPEG (.jpg), PNG (.png), HEIC, screenshots or image-based files, or links to external drives or cloud folders (unless specifically requested). Improperly formatted submissions may be deemed incomplete.
Proof of Enrollment must be an official document issued by the applicant’s educational institution, typically obtained from the Registrar’s Office. Screenshots of course schedules, letters of conditional acceptance, and unofficial or self-generated documents do not qualify.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate and complete. Submission of false, misleading, or altered documentation may result in disqualification.
Applicants are encouraged to retain confirmation of submission. HCAF is not responsible for technical errors caused by incomplete uploads or improperly submitted materials.
The HCAF Board reserves the right to request clarification or additional documentation, decline incomplete or non-compliant applications, and modify submission procedures as needed.
